While returning from a trip to the zoo, a school bus filled with elementary students collided with a cement truck and overturned on a highway in Texas (USA).

The incident occurred last Friday (22), as students from Tom Green Elementary School were returning from an excursion to the Capital of Texas Zoo. The accident resulted in the death of one of the students, Ulises Rodriguez Montoya, aged 5.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the cement truck hit the school bus shortly before a driver of a third vehicle, a Dodge Charger, also collided with the bus. Ryan Wallace, 33, who was driving the Charger, also died in the accident.
The truck driver was Jerry Hernandez, 42, who has since admitted to smoking marijuana the night before the accident, sleeping only about three hours, and then waking up for work at 1 a.m. and consuming cocaine.
Shocking dashboard camera footage released by the school district shows the terrifying moment when the truck launches towards the bus, causing it to overturn and turn into debris.
